Privacy Statement for the Gastroenterological Society of Australia

The Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate its firm commitment to privacy. The following sections disclose the information gathering and dissemination practices that are operating on our website.

Email Addresses
Your email address is only recorded if you register for access to GESA Member Services (see GESA Members Services for more information). Once your registration is approved and access is given to the GESA Members Area, your email address is subscribed to the GESA Members email list. The GESA Members email list is used only by GESA for the purpose of disseminating information of interest to members. The Society will not use your e-mail address for any other purpose, and will not disclose it, without your consent.

Member Forums
This site makes third-party forums available to users. Therefore any information that is disclosed in these areas will be available to the member community in which it has been posted. Please, therefore remember to exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information.
