The Recertification in Colonoscopy Conjoint Committee (RCCC) is a national body comprising representatives from the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA), the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS).
The Committee oversees the Recertification in Colonoscopy Program, providing a formal framework for practitioners to maintain and demonstrate ongoing competence. Participants record procedures in an online logbook, which is reviewed every three years.
The program supports continuing professional development while promoting nationally recognised standards of quality, patient safety and clinical care.
