FUNDING & ELIGIBILITY:

Attendance at the HATP is proudly funded by GESA, with flights and accommodation covered for successful applicants. 

• Places are limited

• 1^st year advanced trainees will not be accepted.  This program runs every two years and 1^st year trainees will have an opportunity to attend in the future.

•   There are two pathways into the program

  1. Head of Department Nomination - GESA has reached out to Head of Departments at major hospitals to request nominations. This is the primary and preferred pathway, so we'd encourage you to speak with your HOD about putting your name forward.*

  2. Direct Application - An application form is available below, though this will still require you to list your Head of Department as a referee.

     *Nominations directly from Heads of Department will be prioritised.
