Building a Better GESA for the next generation of GI scientists
The launch of our new website marks the first major milestone in GESA’s broader digital transformation program.
Over the past year, GESA has been working to modernise the systems, platforms and services that support members, researchers, educators and professional communities. This work is focused on creating a more connected and intuitive experience while establishing a strong foundation for future growth.
The new website has been designed to make information easier to find, simplify navigation and improve access to the resources and opportunities that matter most to members. It also introduces the framework for future enhancements, including improved event management, membership services, research and grants administration, credentialling processes and digital learning experiences.
Behind the scenes, significant work is also being undertaken to improve how information is managed and shared across GESA's digital ecosystem. These improvements will help reduce duplication, streamline administration and support more personalised member experiences over time.
Digital transformation is not a single project - it is an ongoing journey. This new platform provides the foundation for that journey and represents an important investment in the future of the organisation and the members we serve.
