Research Funding
A new grants platform will make it easier to discover, apply for and manage research funding opportunities across GESA programs.
One of the most significant improvements arriving as part of GESA’s digital transformation is the introduction of a dedicated grants and research funding platform.
The new system provides a central location for researchers to access funding opportunities, review eligibility requirements, submit applications and track progress throughout the assessment process.
Designed to support applicants, reviewers and administrators alike, the platform streamlines many of the processes that have traditionally required manual administration and multiple communication channels.
Researchers can access information about project grants, paediatric research grants, mid-career awards, disease-specific funding opportunities and other programs supported by GESA and its partners.
The platform improves transparency by providing clearer information about application requirements, assessment timelines and funding outcomes.
For reviewers and committees, the new system supports a more efficient and consistent evaluation process while maintaining the integrity and rigour expected of GESA research programs.
The grants platform represents another important step in strengthening research capability across gastroenterology and hepatology and supporting the next generation of clinical and scientific innovation.
Further information and application opportunities will be released as new funding rounds become available.
